How To Consign

We know you want to dress your kids cute AND stretch your dollar!

When you consign/shop at the Upscale Weesale……you won’t be disappointed!
We realize that the success of our sale is solely due to our fabulous consignors! We appreciate you in every way and look forward to offering you an opportunity to earn additional income by consigning your children’s top quality new or gently loved clothing, shoes, toys, baby equipment,  and more.
In addition to children’s items, we also accept brand name women’s handbags!
Consigning with the Upscale WeeSale is SUPER EASY!
We will walk you through it….Just follow these easy steps!

Step #1. Register to Consign – We are currently full and no longer accepting consignors for our Spring 2013 sale.

Click   “New Consignor Registration” below to register to receive your consignor number and password. Returning Consignors may log in below or by clicking here: Consignor Homepage. When registering, please be sure to allow Paypal to return to the WeeSale website to complete registration. Please don’t close out of paypal and go back to the WeeSale website. Your registration WILL NOT complete successfully and you will need to contact me to complete your registration. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 10 minutes, then most likely your registration did not go through correctly. :)

Consignor profit is 66% and the consignor fee is $10.00. This fee is nonrefundable, however; all consignors have the opportunity to waive their fee and earn higher percentages by volunteering! Volunteer shifts are 3 hours.  See the “Volunteer” page for more information. **NOTE: You will be directed to Paypal during the registration process. Please be sure to wait for Paypal to direct you  back to the WeeSale website to complete your registration.

Step #2. Schedule your drop off appointment

Go to the Drop Off Information page to schedule your drop off appointment or log into your consignor account by clinking on Consignor Login on the homepage of our website. Located in the top right hand corner.

Step #3: Please read the website instructions carefully.

Please read our  Consignor Guidelines, Tagging Instructions, Accepted/Not Accepted Items, and read over the Pricing Guidelines.

Step #4. Prep Your Items

Wash, iron and hang your items neatly. See all the consignor instructions, How-To videos and FAQ’s for help preparing your items for consignment. And remember ….Presentation is EVERYTHING when consigning!

Step #5. Check for Recalls!

You must CHECK FOR RECALLS – we have a tool on this page to the right. Take the Pledge!  Consigners: Your pledge is a promise to the community that you will check your items for recalls before selling them. Once you take the pledge, you’ll have the opportunity to enter a fun drawing for lots of cool prizes – just to thank you for your commitment and help spreading the word. If we work together, we can make children’s consignment events the safest places to shop!

Step #6: Enter your items online

All merchandise is priced and tagged by you the consignor using our built-in state of the art consignment software program. You can enter your items by logging into your  Consignor Account . Go to  “Work with your consigned items” link.

*NOTE – A MINIMUM OF 20 items or $100.00 in merchandise is required to qualify for a presale pass. Maximum item limit is 250.

You can double up items to make outfits. One 2 or 3 piece outfit with one tag = 1 item. You may enter your merchandise at your leisure. This can be done whenever you have a few extra minutes throughout the next few weeks.  The time for entering merchandise will close promptly Friday, February 15th @ 11:59pm. Anything that has not been entered will NOT be able to be sold in the event. You will still have access to print tags, so if you are in any type of time crunch, input your merchandise first! If you are choosing to CLEAN OUT those closets be sure and check the DISCOUNT option. We all love a great bargain and we offer an “almost everything” half off day. If your merchandise is still available Sunday morning, discounting is a great way to get it sold! We would love to provide you with a nice big check instead of a handful of unsold items. Be sure and check “Donate” if you would like any unsold clothing and merchandise to go to several York County charitable organizations.

Step #7: Print your tags

Tags should be printed on white CARDSTOCK paper. Please do not print them on plain paper, no exceptions. Photo paper is a great paper to use as well…..and you can find it on sale and in the Dollar Store!

Step #8:  Bring your items to the Upscale WeeSale

Please see the Drop Off and Pick Up page for detailed information and what to expect at Drop Off.

Step #9. Shop the Presale & Shop 50% off Early

The consignor presale will be held on Tuesday, March 12: 6pm-9pm. Volunteers shop on Monday,  March 11th. See “Volunteering” for more info. Only 1 person per pass can shop on consignor night.  No children, no spouses, and no guests, please! As a consignor, you shop the half-price sale on Sunday, beginning at 12:30pm. Volunteers shop at 12:00 noon (early church that day!) The public opening is 1:30pm. Read Presale Shopping Information here.

Step #10: Sit back and relax and watch your $$ GROW!

Unless you have scheduled a shift to be a volunteer for early shop times and/or highter commission, You DO NOT need to be present during the sale!  You will be able to track your online sales throughout the sale! Cool, huh? We update your sales every evening!

Step# 11: Pick-up your unsold items and your consignor profit check!

Consignor percentage paid is 66%. Traditional consignment shops only give you 50% and they decide if your items will be discounted. There is a consignor fee of  $10.00  to consign and this fee is paid upfront. Volunteers that work 2 shifts are refunded this fee in their consignor checks. The consignor fee  helps us offset the continued cost of rent, utilities, advertising and supplies associated with holding the sale each season. If you choose to donate all your unsold items, your check will be mailed to you within 1 week.  If you are donating all your items, be sure to include a self addressed stamped envelope at time of drop off  to avoid paying the additional postage & handling fees of $1.00.Pickup will be held Tuesday, September 11th: 1pm – 7pm.
